Engineering leader building organizations where people do their best work.
Burlington, Vermont
I’m the kind of person who is perpetually fascinated about the interplay of humanity and technology. This fascination got going early, programming my Commodore 64 back in the day, and became a profession when I started running technology for a boarding school where I also taught math and science. I followed the tech itch to a boutique software agency where we helped an endless variety of fascinating people and organizations. I went on to become a leader at a benefits administration startup which got acquired by Sun Life, the company where I now lead a 60-person organization owning engineering strategy and client-facing software. Strong values at work are important to me - I’m grateful to have worked for a number of companies with a clear sense of mission. And I’m still chasing that original spark of what’s possible when people come together to build cool things and see what happens.
