I’m the kind of person who is perpetually fascinated by the interplay of humanity and technology. This fascination got going early, programming my Commodore 64 back in the day, and became a profession when I started running technology for a boarding school where I also taught math and science. I followed the tech itch to a boutique software agency where I became a technology partner for a remarkable variety of people and organizations. I went on to become a leader at a benefits administration startup that was acquired by Sun Life, where I now lead a 60-person organization across a dozen teams. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to lead so many companies that share a strong sense of purpose in helping people. And I’m still chasing that original spark of what’s possible when people come together to build cool things and see what happens.
